GELACTIVE NPK 16-5-5 NBPT FLAKES is one of the new formulations born in our research centre in collaboration with universities, thanks to the development of our new patented process technology GEL ACTIVE FOAM®. This technology, acting on pressures and temperatures during the production process, particularly in the thermobaric hydrolysis phase, allows the protein molecule to release regular fractions of amino acid chains, ensuring a more regular release of organic protein nitrogen, further enhanced by the physical form of flakes measuring approximately 2 mm. GELACTIVE NPK 16-5-5 NBPT FLAKES is an organo-mineral NPK fertiliser obtained through a reaction between mineral components and organic-protein matrices, using co-extrusion technology that optimises the interaction and stabilisation of nutrients. The product is characterised by organic nitrogen with slow natural mineralisation and ureic nitrogen treated with NBPT (urease inhibitor), which delays hydrolysis, reducing losses and increasing efficiency of use. In addition, the synergy between organic nitrogen with gradual release and nitrogen inhibited with NBPT ensures a progressive, prolonged and constant supply of nutrients to crops throughout the entire vegetative-productive cycle. The formulation also provides P and K from sulphate, both of which are fully assimilable by crops and bound to the organic-protein matrix, which limits insolubilisation processes. GELACTIVE NPK 16-5-5 NBPT FLAKES is suitable for all types of soil, resulting particularly effective in soils with high pH and low organic matter content. The product is recommended for autumn and spring basal fertilisation and maintenance of orchards, vineyards, horticultural crops and all crops that are affected by the presence of chlorides. It can also be used in grassed areas or in conditions where incorporation is not possible. This formulation, like all those in the GELACTIVE FLAKES line, allows for a reduction of approximately 15-20% in application doses compared to a conventional pellet formulation, thanks to its improved agronomic efficiency.
