GELACTIVE N 11 FLAKES is one of the new formulations born in our research centre in collaboration with universities, thanks to the development of our new patented process technology GEL ACTIVE FOAM®. This technology, acting on pressures and temperatures during the production process, particularly in the thermobaric hydrolysis phase, allows the protein molecule to release regular fractions of amino acid chains, ensuring a more regular release of organic protein nitrogen, further enhanced by the physical form of flakes measuring approximately 2 mm. GELACTIVE N 11 FLAKES is an organic nitrogen fertilizer formulated from hydrolyzed leather and hides, providing a high level of organic nitrogen (N 11%) with a slow and extended release. This component is obtained through high-pressure hydrolysis of collagenous scleroproteins. Nitrogen mineralization depends on soil characteristics (texture, structure, moisture, aeration, and temperature) and is generally completed within 2–3 months; under prolonged flooding conditions, such as in rice fields, degradation times are longer. GELACTIVE N 11 FLAKES also contains iron (Fe) and magnesium (Mg) chelated to the organic matTer, which promote the increase of microbial biomass, improve the humic substance balance, and help prevent and correct iron chlorosis and magnesium deficiencies. GELACTIVE N 11 FLAKES is ideal for basal and top-dressing applications, recommended for autumn and spring treatments on a wide range of crops. the product shows high effectiveness in rice fields, orchards, and vineyards, whether grassed or not, and is also excellent for nursery production. This formulation, like all those in the GELACTIVE FLAKES line, allows for a reduction of approximately 15-20% in application doses compared to a conventional pellet formulation, thanks to its improved agronomic efficiency.
