GELACTIVE NPK 4-5-6 FLAKES is one of the new formulations born in our research centre in collaboration with universities, thanks to the development of our new patented process technology GEL ACTIVE FOAM®. This technology, acting on pressures and temperatures during the production process, particularly in the thermobaric hydrolysis phase, allows the protein molecule to release regular fractions of amino acid chains, ensuring a more regular release of organic protein nitrogen, further enhanced by the physical form of flakes measuring approximately 2 mm. GELACTIVE NPK 4-5-6 FLAKES is an organo-mineral NPK fertiliser with a low chlorine content, obtained through a reaction between organic and mineral components, which improves its agronomic efficiency. The organic nitrogen (N) content with a natural slow release, associated with the availability of phosphorous (P), potassium (K) and sulphur trioxide (SO₃), provides a balanced supply of nutrient. The high amount of protein-based organic matter, promotes soil microbiological activity. GELACTIVE NPK 4-5-6 FLAKES is particularly suggested for the autumn and spring basal fertilisation, and also on grasses soil, and can be used in high value horticultural crops and fruit trees. This formulation, like all those in the GELACTIVE FLAKES line, allows for a reduction of approximately 15-20% in application doses compared to a conventional pellet formulation, thanks to its improved agronomic efficiency.
