GELACTIVE NPK 6-7-13 FLAKES is one of the new formulations born in our research centre in collaboration with universities, thanks to the development of our new patented process technology GEL ACTIVE FOAM®. This technology, acting on pressures and temperatures during the production process, particularly in the thermobaric hydrolysis phase, allows the protein molecule to release regular fractions of amino acid chains, ensuring a more regular release of organic protein nitrogen, further enhanced by the physical form of flakes measuring approximately 2 mm. GELACTIVE NPK 6-7-13 FLAKES is an organo-mineral NPK fertiliser with a low content of chlorine, obtained through a reaction between mineral matrices and organic protein components. The product contains: organic nitrogen from scleroprotein origin with natural slow release, capable of ensuring a constant supply to crops during the entire cropping cycle; assimilable phosphorous protected by organic matter in order to avoid insolubilisation processes; sulphate-derived potassium with high solubility; a high content of sulphates immediately available and a huge amount of organic matter from protein origin (>38%). The high agronomic efficiency of GELACTIVE NPK 6-7-13 FLAKES permit to optimise the supply of fertiliser unit, reducing the fertilisation costs and the environmental impact. The product is recommended for all the crops requiring a constant nitrogen supply, and is particularly suitable for potassium-demanding crops and potassium-deficient soils. It can be used for the autumn and spring basal fertilisation, as well as for top-dressing applications in fruit trees and vineyards, especially with grasses conditions. The presence of sulphate-derived potassium and sulphates makes GELACTIVE NPK 6-7-13 FLAKES particularly suitable for the high quality crops, especially for those sensitive to chloride. This formulation, like all products in the GELACTIVE FLAKES line, thanks to its higher agronomic efficiency, allows a reduction of approximately 15–20% in application rates compared to a conventional pellet formulation.
