UmiOrga is a product with a high content of humic acids extracted from Leonardite from North Dakota, a natural fossil carbon derived from the oxidation of Lignite. Thanks to its composition, it exerts a bioactivating effect and improves the chemical-physical and biological properties of the soil. UmiOrga stimulates soil microbial activity, with positive effects on biological fertility, and promotes the mobility and uptake of nutrients thanks to the strong ability of humic acids to form chelate-like complexes. This feature helps prevent nutrient leaching or immobilization, often caused by soil colloids, thus facilitating the mobilization of phosphorus, potassium, iron, calcium, and magnesium, while reducing nitrogen leaching. Its application enhances root development, also due to the natural presence of auxins, which stimulate root growth and branching, improving soil exploration and water and nutrient uptake. Thanks to its cation exchange capacity and ion mobility, UmiOrga contributes to better soil structure, softness and permeability, helps neutralize pH in alkaline soils, and reduces salinity, increasing crop tolerance to abiotic stress (drought, salinity, temperature fluctuations). Lastly, the supply of organic nitrogen and bioavailable meso and micronutrients supports crop nutritional requirements throughout all phenological stages.
