FunStop is a phytofortifier based on potassium, microelements (Mn, Zn), and silicon, formulated to optimize the nutritional supply of plants and activate their natural defence mechanisms under stress conditions. Thanks to its advanced formulation, FunStop ensures high adhesion and uniform distribution on treated surfaces, quickly covering the external tissues of the plant and reducing the available surface for pathogens (such as the causal agents of powdery mildew, scab, rice blast, etc.). Moreover, potassium (K) is an essential nutrient involved in numerous fundamental metabolic processes, including photosynthesis, protein and pigment synthesis, stomatal opening, and sugar transport. Its high concentration promotes increased cell turgor, greater sugar accumulation in fruits, and strengthens the leaf epidermis, improving its mechanical resistance. The microelements (Mn, Zn) present in the product are essential for the plant (photosynthesis, chlorophyll synthesis, amino acids and proteins, phytohormone regulation), and being readily assimilable, they promote growth, development, and resistance to biotic and abiotic stress. The formulation is further enhanced by the presence of silicon (SiO₂), which interacts synergistically with the other elements, contributing to the mechanical reinforcement of the leaf epidermis through the deposition of opaline concretions, creating a further physical barrier that hinders pathogen attacks.
