AZOPOWER N 30 NBPT is an organo-mineral nitrogen fertiliser obtained through a reaction between urea and selected organic protein matrices. The technological innovation is represented by the use of NBPT (N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide), a urease inhibitor capable of delaying urea hydrolysis, significantly reducing nitrogen losses due to volatilization. In AZOPOWER N 30 NBPT, a dual nitrogen protection is realised thanks to the synergistic presence of organic nitrogen with natural slow release and ureic nitrogen stabilized with NBPT. This combination ensures higher fertiliser use efficiency, providing prolonged nitrogen availability and allowing crops to assimilate up to 30% more nitrogen compared to conventional nitrogen fertilisers. AZOPOWER N 30 NBPT is particularly suitable for non-irrigated soils or no-tillage cropping systems, where it is essential to optimize nitrogen nutrition without incorporation into the soil. The product is recommended for the fertilisation of cereals (both at pre-sowing and top dressing), fruit trees, vegetable crops and ornamentals, as well as for all crops that benefit from a constant and progressive nitrogen supply for up to 120 days after application. Thanks to urea stabilisation with NBPT, AZOPOWER N 30 NBPT can effectively replace conventional synthetic nitrogen fertilisers, showing particular advantages on alkaline soils and soils poor in organic matter, where it contributes to improving yields and crop quality.
