GELACTIVE NPK 8-16-12 FLAKES is one of the new formulations born in our research centre in collaboration with universities, thanks to the development of our new patented process technology GEL ACTIVE FOAM®. This technology, acting on pressures and temperatures during the production process, particularly in the thermobaric hydrolysis phase, allows the protein molecule to release regular fractions of amino acid chains, ensuring a more regular release of organic protein nitrogen, further enhanced by the physical form of flakes measuring approximately 2 mm. GELACTIVE NPK 8-16-12 FLAKES is a LCC organo-mineral NPK fertiliser, obtained through a reaction between mineral components and umified and organic protein matrices, created to ensure the maximum protection of phosphates against the insolubilisation processes and to promote the chelation of micronutrients. This is a complete fertiliser, characterised by high level of organic nitrogen with natural slow release, phosphorus, potassium from sulphate and a significant amount of organic matter (>14%), that includes humic and fulvic acids from natural and plant origins. The formulation combines different nitrogen forms, providing a differentiated, continuous and complete nutritional supply to the crops, throughout the entire vegetative cycle. The phosphorus is highly available and protected by the organic fraction, which reduce the insolubilisation processes, while the high content of potassium from sulphate ensures a low chloride supply. Thanks to the high agronomic efficiency GELACTIVE NPK 8-16-12 FLAKES is capable to decrease the fertiliser units, with a reduction of the costs and a lower environmental impact. The product is particularly suitable for the basal and maintenance fertilisation, in soil poor in phosphorous and potassium, in orchards, vineyards and citrus groves, with or without grass cover. It is also widely used in crops such as potato, tomato, sugar beet, melon and tobacco. This formulation, like all those in the GELACTIVE FLAKES line, allows for a reduction of approximately 15-20% in application doses compared to a conventional pellet formulation, thanks to its improved agronomic efficiency.
