GELACTIVE NPK 8-5-6 S FLAKES is one of the new formulations born in our research centre in collaboration with universities, thanks to the development of our new patented process technology GEL ACTIVE FOAM®. This technology, acting on pressures and temperatures during the production process, particularly in the thermobaric hydrolysis phase, allows the protein molecule to release regular fractions of amino acid chains, ensuring a more regular release of organic protein nitrogen, further enhanced by the physical form of flakes measuring approximately 2 mm. GELACTIVE NPK 8-5-6 S FLAKES is an organo-mineral NPK fertiliser with low chlorine content, obtained through a reaction process between organic matrices and mineral components, designed to increase the agronomic efficiency of organic nitrogen with higher levels and the availability of phosphates and microelements. GELACTIVE NPK 8-5-6 S FLAKES is a formulation characterised by a high content of organic nitrogen with slow natural release, derived from selected protein matrices (meat and bone meal, hydrolysed leather and hides), which ensure a gradual and prolonged release of nutrients, a balanced presence of highly assimilable phosphates, a potassium source from sulphate with low chlorine content and a high content of organic matter of protein origin (>50%). GELACTIVE NPK 8-5-6 S FLAKES is particularly suitable for autumn and spring basal fertilisation and can also be used in grassy vineyards thanks to its highly efficient agronomic formulation. This formulation makes the product suitable for use on high value crops that are sensitive to chlorides. This formulation, like all those in the GELACTIVE FLAKES line, allows for a reduction of approximately 15-20% in application doses compared to a conventional pellet formulation, thanks to its improved agronomic efficiency.
