Mico-Pro is a microorganism-based product that, thanks to the innovative MICO-SET® technology, provides a targeted selection of beneficial microbial strains capable of acting synergistically to promote plant well-being and growth, even under stress conditions. In particular, the presence of various species of the Bacillus genus (B. subtilis OG39365*, B. amyloliquefaciens OG33450*, B. pumilus OG69589*, B. velezensis OG58369*, B. megaterium OG96536*) as well as Trichoderma harzianum OG99566* promotes the production of phytohormones, such as auxins, which stimulate root growth and improve the overall vegetative development of the plant. Furthermore, the Bacillus bacteria present in the consortium are particularly effective in optimizing the absorption of essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, enhancing the plant’s nutritional efficiency. The MICO-SET® microbial consortium has, among other effects, the ability to hinder the development of harmful microorganisms, through the production of siderophores and bioactive molecules, and to induce the plant’s systemic resistance (ISR/SAR), strengthening crop defences against biotic stress. Finally, thanks to the TWIN PACK formulation, the product’s packaging includes a separate container for Trichoderma harzianum OG99566* to avoid unwanted competition with other microorganisms, which could reduce their effective concentration in the composition and, consequently, the product’s effectiveness in the field.
