Organ-Seed is a microbiological seed coating product designed to support plant development from the earliest stages of germination thanks to the exclusive MICO-SET® technology, based on a consortium of beneficial microorganisms, including rhizospheric bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi. The mycorrhizae in the formulation expand the root surface area, significantly increasing the absorption of water and nutrients. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria, such as Azotobacter chroococcum OG15342* and Azospirillum brasilense OG19325*, contribute to the symbiotic fixation of atmospheric nitrogen, making it available to the plant and stimulating early germination and growth. Moreover, they increase the availability of other nutrients, particularly phosphorus, by converting it from insoluble forms into forms that are easily assimilated by the plant, thus contributing to optimal nutrition. Strains of Bacillus polymyxa OG22596*, Bacillus pumilus OG69589*, and Bacillus velezensis OG58369* further support root and vegetative development through the production of natural phytohormones (auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins). These bacteria rapidly colonize the rhizosphere, exerting a competitive effect against pathogens, preventing their establishment and inducing the plant’s endogenous defence system (ISR). Organ-Seed is therefore a valid alternative to traditional chemical seed coatings, as it enhances germination, stimulates initial growth, and supports plant development, with positive effects on yield and production quality. Thanks to its completely natural composition and ease of use, it represents a sustainable and residue-free solution, ideal for organic and integrated agriculture programs, adhering perfectly to the seed and coating it evenly including the natural blue-coloured tracer.
